Do
you have a minimum order size?
Yes.
There is a minimum order size of $5.00.
What payment types do you accept?
I accept VISA,
MasterCard, Discover, American
Express and debit cards. All credit and
debit card orders are
processed using a secure online service
called PayPal. PayPal is the world's largest
online payment service. You do not have to
pay any user fee to send payment.
If you have a Paypal account balance, you may also transfer funds to pay for
your purchase or send an E-Check via Paypal (where funds are withdrawn from your
linked checking account). I also accept cashier
checks and money orders and cash.
I cannot
accept Personal Checks.
Can I call in my credit card number to you?
No, I'm sorry. All credit card orders are
processed using a secure online service
called PayPal. PayPal is the world's largest
online payment service. You do not have to
pay any user fee to send payment.
I have no facilities to accept credit card payments over the phone.
What am I going to pay
for shipping?
Normal SHIPPING within
the USA IS 100% FREE on this store! If you want your seeds sent priority
mail, there is an additional fee to cover the priority mail charge,
HOWEVER, if you order over $25.00 in seeds, PRIORITY MAIL Shipping is FREE.
All live plants are automatically shipped USPS PRIORITY MAIL, this also is FREE
- no additional charge!
What is 'normal'
shipping / How will you ship my items?
Normal SHIPPING for
seeds orders is First Class mail, HOWEVER, if you order over $25.00 in seeds,
the shipping is upgraded, free of charge, to PRIORITY MAIL. This will be done
automatically, you need not do anything or pay any extra for this. All live
plants are automatically shipped USPS PRIORITY MAIL.
I don't live in the
USA, what am I going to pay for shipping?
International customers will have
the following nominal shipping charges added to their order. Orders $50.00 and
under are mailed via Airmail Letter Post; orders over $50.00 are mailed Global
Priority Mail, if available in your area. If you would like your order mailed via a different method (ie:
Global Express Mail), email me for the cost of that.

Are there any other
fees other than the listed price?
No! I have no hidden
transaction or handling fees. For
shipments going to Florida, I must, by law,
collect Florida Sales Tax. There are
shipping fees on orders going OUTSIDE the
USA (see above).

What will I
get with my order?
All seeds come with
full germination and growing instructions. All plants come with planting
and care instructions. Some products, like gourd seeds, come with very
detailed growing and drying instructions. Most of the seeds include a color
photo of a seedling for identification purposes (have you ever 'weeded out' your
seedlings before?). You will NOT get an envelope full of seeds with
hand-written labels that are barely legible (or perhaps no label at all?).
You won't have to guess about how to plant seeds purchased from me!
How will my order
be packaged?
All seeds are packed
in bubble wrap, or a bubble mailer, to protect them from being crushed in
mailing. I pack plants with utmost care to avoid breaking and assure survival
during shipping. If you ever have a problem with the condition your
package arrives, please
email me.
I want to give these seeds as a gift, can you ship them to a third party?
Certainly! That is NO
PROBLEM! Simply
email me and let me know you want me to send your purchase to a third party
and what the name and address is, and, if you'd like, what the occasion is, and
I'll include a note with the seeds showing them as a gift from you and wishing
the person a 'Happy Birthday' or anything you'd like.
How do I know
you are a reputable and reliable company to order from?
Customer satisfaction
is of highest priority to me. I believe this can be clearly seen from my 100%

Feedback on Ebay as well as the comments that customers have left on the
Garden Watchdog. I strive
for 100% satisfaction and will go the extra mile to make sure you have a
pleasant shopping experience AND are completely happy with your purchases.
Where do you
get your seeds?
99% of the seeds I
sell are harvested from plants grown in my own yard. I start the plants
from seed, so I KNOW what it takes to germinate them from seed. I also
germination test the seeds I harvest to assure germination rates in normal
ranges for each species. If a particular species has low germination rates, I
let you know that in the item description. So, were does the other
1% come from? Usually from wildflowers near my home OR from my gardening
friend's and neighbor's yards. Again, I germination test all my seeds
regardless of their origin.
Is it safe and secure to order
from your
online store?
Yes, when you provide
me with any personal information - your
name, address, e-mail or credit card number
- it is done on a secure server. I use PayPal for all our credit card transactions.
PayPal automatically encrypts your
confidential information in transit from
your computer using the Secure Sockets Layer
protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length
of 128-bits (the highest level commercially
available). Your information will reside on
a server that is heavily guarded both
physically and electronically.
How do I know
if I was successful in submitting my order?
After you complete
your order, and the order is successfully
submitted, you should see a "Thank You"
screen showing your order number. If you pay
with Paypal, you will
receive an e-mail confirmation of your order
and an email from my store showing that
payment has been received. IF YOU DON'T GET
AN EMAIL FROM MY STORE INDICATING THAT
PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED and you feel that
you have correctly submitted payment, please
contact me directly so I can check on
the status of the payment.
If you are paying with a money order, you will see a page showing your order
number, my mailing address and the total amount of your order. You may want to
print this page out for reference. Please make sure to include your order number
with your payment. If you are ever
in doubt, please
contact
me.
I want to mail
my payment to you, how will I know when you receive it?
Make sure that you
include your email address on your order or with your payment and I will email
you when I receive your payment.
When will my
order be shipped?
For seed orders, I
usually mail these out within 1 mailing day of receipt of payment. For plant
orders, these are mailed on MONDAY'S and TUESDAY'S only (to avoid plants sitting in a truck
or warehouse over the weekend). In either case, I will email you and let you
know the date your order is shipped, so you will know when to expect delivery.
How long will it take
my order to arrive?
I mail all orders out
usually within 1 business day after payment -
sometimes the same day!
Orders placed on Sunday or a postal holiday are
not shipped until Monday or the next business
day in the event of a postal holiday.
Normally, your order will arrive in about
7-10 business days for First Class and 2-3
days for Priority Mail. Arrival time for orders
placed outside the USA will vary but
generally arrive in 2-3 weeks. Please allow
a reasonable time for orders to reach you.

Do you ship to
customers outside the USA?
Yes, unless otherwise
noted in the item description, we do ship
internationally (see additional shipping
charges above for fees related to shipping outside the USA). While we have shipped to
many destinations worldwide, we may not be
aware of the regulations that pertain to the
importation of seeds to your country. Such
regulations, if any, may vary by location
and may change without our knowledge. If you
are uncertain regarding import regulations
to your destination, we urge to check with
your local agricultural authority before
placing an order. For our friends in
Australia, you can search the AQIS Site to find out if the seeds you are
interested in are permitted to be imported, here's the link:

Conditions. Our refund policy does not
apply to orders that may be confiscated and
destroyed by
an importing authority. We do not ship
plants internationally - only seeds.

Do you use my personal
information for anything other than
completing my order?
I do not share
or forward information about you to other
sites nor do I give access to marketing
sites to gather information about you while
you shop at our site. Under no circumstances
do I release any email addresses to other
companies or organizations. As a customer,
you may receive email from us from time to
time to tell you about some of our specials,
but these are purely optional and you can
opt out from any future messages at anytime.
If seeds are left in a
mailbox will freezing temperatures harm the seed?
As long as the seed
(and package) was not wet, the seed could
withstand freezing temperatures for several
days with no effect. Most seed would have to
be moist in order to be harmed by low
temperatures. PLANTS, on the other
hand, can be harmed by very cold AND very hot conditions. If you are ordering
plants, I suggest having them delivered to a destination where they can be
accepted by someone and kept in a climate controlled environment until you can
get them unpacked and planted.
Do you have a catalog?
We do not have a paper
catalog at this time, however, feel free to
print out any of our pages from our
online store.
I'm buying for resale,
can I use your pictures in my advertising?
Simply, NO. All my
pictures are original photographs taken by me and are my copyrighted property.
I am happy to SELL unlimited rights to my pictures at reasonable prices for such
purposes, however.
Contact me for more information about purchasing photographs for your own
use.
Do you sell bulk or
wholesale prices?
Yes, we do provide
larger packets at discounted prices for many
of our seed varieties. You can view our
current bulk seed offers at our
online store.
